Half at the Hamptons, Hampton Beach, NH - February 23, 2014
From Sarah: My time was 1:49:31 good for a new half PR! It was wet on the roads and the parking lots were definitely not plowed out well but overall, it was a really good race, pretty flat with some hills in the middle. There was plenty of Smuttynose beer, pizza, water, soup and lindt chocolate for after the race.

Old Fashioned 10 Miler and Flat 5K, Foxboro - February 16, 2014
From Sarah: It was a very competitive field and you could tell there were a lot of runners getting ready for the Boston Marathon. It was a good race - rolling hills with a significant hill at the halfway point. The race had beef stew, vegetarian chili, rolls, cookies and water for after the race and it was only $15!

Fight for Air Climb, Firefighter's Challenge, Boston - February 1, 2014
From John: Yesterday Scott Keefe and myself participated in the Fight for Air Climb, Firefighter's Challenge, where we climbed 41 floors [of the BNY Mellon Building in Boston] in full firefighting gear. This was our first time racing in this event. Despite limited training simulation for such an event we finished strong.
