Mentor, motivator, advocate, organizer, expert...  I believe coaching is all these things and more.  There is no one size fits all when it comes to coaching.  My approach is client-centered... designed to meet you where you're at whether that be an aspiring sprinter, someone new to running, or a seasoned athlete looking to run a faster marathon.

My approach is built on curiosity.  I work with aspiring as well as experienced athletes to figure out what's possible while balancing work, family, and all those other commitments.  Your goals are translated into daily workouts that are open for discussion and adjustment.

Coaching options include one-time form assessments, face-to-face coaching sessions, training plans, and one-on-one monthly coaching programs.  For more information email donnajleblanc@yahoo.com or call/text 978-857-0178.

As an experienced endurance athlete, two-time Ironman triathlete, ultra distance trail runner and marathoner, I believe that training for sports in an analogy for life.  The skills that you develop through training can help you to perform better in all aspects of your life.  For me, no two training plans are alike.  I get to know my athletes, and develop personalized plans that will fit their goals, fitness, experience, and lifestyle.  In addition to the technical knowledge that I provide, I draw on my health coaching education to assist athletes in finding balance in areas that are outside of training but that strongly influence it; such as work/relationship stress, poor eating habits, and overbooked schedules.  ChiRunning is a technique that combines the movement principles of Tai Chi with the sport of running.  Doing this transfers the workload to your core muscles, and away from your legs, where the majority of injuries occur.  ChiRunning also teaches you how to cooperate with the two main forces acting upon the runner, the downward pull of gravity and the force of the oncoming road; helping you to run more efficiently and with less impact.  I'm happy to work with athletes in the way that best fits their needs, some options are running gait video analysis, 1-1 in person coaching, or monthly coaching with a training plan.  You can visit my site at jeangilliswellness.com or email me at jeangilliswellness@gmail.com.
