Race Proceeds

This race will benefit the Whitin Community Center, the Massachusetts Audubon Society and Girls on the Run, Worcester County.

Mass Audubon is committed to protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife.  At Mass Audubon's Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, programs serve people of all ages - from preschoolers and families to students and senior citizens.  We team up with other local organizations to work with schools, scouts and community groups.  For the past several years, we have been extremely involved in the Campaign for a Fishable and Swimmable Blackstone River.

The Whitin Community Center is a private, non-profit, community-based organization serving the Blackstone Valley since 1922.  The Whitin Community Center is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and families and building a strong community in the Blackstone Valley.  We offer social, recreational, educational, and outreach programs that bring community members of all ages and backgrounds together.

A big thank you to the Girls on the Run organization for supporting the Whitin Five runners and the water stop.
