Bellingham Challenge 5K - Bellingham, MA - April 29, 2012 - Nice down hill in the first mile then long up hills in the last two miles. Sixteen TVFRers ran the race and eleven placed in the top three in their divisions. First place division winners include Peter Berdos, Glenn Miller, John Parker and Charlene Gaboriault. Second place finishers include Bill Goode, Les Steinbrecher and Linda Zavalick. Third place finishers were Luke Legendre, Richard Berdos, Peter Berdos Jr and Richard Van Wie.

From Hiroshi: It was really hot day to run that long distance. What saved me was perhaps the plenty of water available at the water station and I do not even know how many times I soaked myself pouring the water over my head.

Northern Nipmuck 16 Mile Trail Race - Union, CT - April 7, 2012 - From Rich Victor: Not a good day... over half and hour slower than last year. They changed the course a bit at the beginning and added about a mile to it (that can't explain away 30 minutes though!) Instead of straight up a hill at the start we got to run for a bit on a woods road; the climbing started about a mile in. It was a beautiful day for a run in the woods.
