Delaware Marathon / Wilmington / DE / Sunday, May 18 -  John Brown with his third marathon in a little less then two months.  Another sub 3 hour run.   Thirteenth overall and first in his division.
From John Brown - I went down to Delaware this weekend for the Delaware Marathon. Nice event. Mostly flat, four loop course, only minor hills, which I found difficult because you really have to work the whole race. Very well organized. Great post race spread (pizza, hogies, fruit, ice cream sandwiches, bagels, soft pretzels, soda, ice tea, water, and GU20). You could also purchase beer. I would definitely do this again. Only with a little more rest. I wanted to run 2:54 but couldn't hold the pace the last 6 miles. Nice bobble head trophies.

From Martin Auty - A great day for an early morning road race.  I like the 9:00 start and the quick posting of results  and awards following the race.  The course has three long but not to steep hills with about a quarter mile flat finish as you come back to the High School.  My first pain free run since early April, so I was happy with the improving results.

MMRF Race for Research 5k Run / South Boston / MA / Saturday, May 10 -  John Brown getting loose after his marathon a week ago and getting ready for the USATF event on May 11th took first in his division and ninth overall  LINK
From John Brown - This is a charity race for Multiple Myeloma cancer research and the company I work for is the major sponsor. The course is flat (part of the Ollie 5 miler is along the same road) and could be fast if it wasn’t for the 25+mph winds coming off the water. Lots of post race food and drink.
