From Rich Victor: Two loops up and down Cranmore.
Mixture of single track in the woods, ski slopes, and gravel
roads. Difficult footing. Weather was nice: cloudy and not too
hot.

Run for ALS - Hopkinton, MA - June 19, 2010 - The
start was moved to 8:30 which was good considering the
temperatures would get into the 80s later on but were not bad
and helped by a breeze. Good turn out by
Tri-Valley with several runners placing in the
awards. Keith Neal is 5th overall and 2nd in his
division. Jason sets a world record with a 17:49
for a 88 year old (mistake in the results) - he actually takes
3rd in his age group. Don Palladini takes a 2nd in his
division, Stephanie Jarvis is either 3rd or 4th, John
Parker really is first (if we discount Jay's place) and
Charlene Gaboriault is 2nd in her division. Plenty
of pizza, bagels, chips and other goodies after the
race. David Ortiz and Mike Timlin stayed to sign hundreds of
autographs.

Classic 5K - West Roxbury, MA - June 6, 2010 - From
Charlene: The rains held off so just cloudy weather with
temps somewhere in the 70s - muggy but comfortable. A
very hilly course - long uphills and long downhills. I
needed the long downhill at the end to make up some time I
lost on the long uphills. Mary though HATES that long
downhill at the end! Joe Drugan takes 3rd in his
division and Charlene takes 3rd in her division. This is
the third race in the NE Runner Pub Series - looks like Joe,
Charlene and Mary are trying for the jacket as they have done
all 3 races to date.
